For me the path to holistic living wasn’t much as common sense as it is for others. I didn’t know anything about health, processed foods, heavy metals, harmful plastics or even what EMFs were.
I was a blank slate unaware of how harmful my lifestyle was.
I’ll admit my first changes came when I became a mother. Motherhood truly opened my eyes into an entirely new perspective.
I say all the time I didn’t care enough for myself so God gave me a child, knowing I would do everything for him.
Which I definitely did.
. Learning about processed foods was my first initial steps, making the change to a whole food diet was simple, pretty much just eat a bunch of meat, fruit, and veggies and you’re golden. obviously I know there’s more to it but for a newbie that felt like enough.
With that small change it created a ripple effect and everything became to change within. I should mentioned it earlier but for some context I suffered from cystic acne my entire life, up until I was 19I
If someone had told me eating real food would fix majority of my health problems I would have immediately listened.
I was raised in a way where no one really knew any better, it was always just assumed to be “hormones” but tell me, what 9 year old needs to be on Birth control for acne because of hormones?
Yeah, needless to say I wish I could go back and prevent all the nonsense but hey, we’ve gotta learn somehow
Through action you will find clarity
I believe the first step for holistically living is truly starting within, a healthy diet will create a ripple effect and open your mind to many new perspectives. Giving you clarity.
